Georgia Davenport

Georgia Davenport, Field Director for Whole Washington presents a repeat tutorial for beginning users of Twitter. She points out how Twitter can reach far beyond the choir, especially to young people, legislators, and celebrities–and give us power to heal* our country.

Whether you can attend or not, please review her Twitter presentation of February 15. 2021 at https://youtu.be/vSTEn2nmqXQ  (43 min.) Start spreading your Twitter wings.

  • If you haven’t seen it already, please view “Power to Heal” and consider showing it in your community. It is an hour-long public television documentary that tells a poignant chapter in the historic struggle to secure equal and adequate access to healthcare for all Americans. Central to the story is how a new national program, Medicare, was used to mount a dramatic, coordinated effort that desegregated thousands of hospitals across the country in a matter of months.
