The disability community forms a large segment of our population and is a potentially powerful ally and beneficiary of single-payer universal health care. We are holding this Summit to listen to the concerns of the disability justice community so that single-payer initiatives can incorporate solutions to those concerns. We believe that if we work together with all people in the community, we can achieve an equitable healthcare system for all.
